Helen Anderson started working as a nurse in 2005 in the small Oregon community where she grew up. As she cared for grandparents and their friends, she heard frustration about the lack of options for seniors that want to stay home, but have medical conditions that make living alone unsafe. Often they were forced to move into a facility to receive the 24 hour care they needed. When the timing was right, Helen brought Kristy Runge to the HelloCare team. Another nurse with expertise in operations and compliance, Kristy has the same commitment to high quality care and a strong caregiver community.
HelloCare was created to respond to the seniors that want to stay in their homes. Some want to live independently from family. Other seniors have family living far away or struggling with health problems that excludes them from being a caregiver. HelloCare gives seniors a choice to age in place, in their homes. We hire experienced caregivers that can bring out the best in seniors and most will never need to leave their homes. HelloCare nursing staff is resource for our caregivers, and always a phone call or text away. Our passion is helping seniors be where they choose for as long as they choose.
