I graduated from nursing school in 2005. As I cared for grandparents and their friends, I heard many of the frustrations about the lack of options for seniors that want to stay home but have medical conditions that make a living alone unsafe. Often they are forced to move into a facility to receive the 24-hour care they need. Many seniors rely on family members who quickly become overwhelmed with their care needs. I knew there had to be a better way to care for seniors in my community. Kristy shares that commitment and so does every other member of the HelloCare team.
